After more than a decade of grassroots community revitalization efforts, the Liberty CDC was established in January 2005 - through generous donations from Town and Village of Liberty and the Gerry Foundation. More than 200 Liberty residents were engaged in a multi-layered planning exercise which established a comprehensive plan for Liberty 's sustained and long-term community development.

We serve as the central vehicle for Housing, Youth and Economic Development efforts in Liberty. The vision is to create a vibrant, diverse community with a prosperous local economy, where people from all backgrounds feel welcome and are involved in community activities.

All the activities of the Liberty CDC are intended to improve the economic and social conditions for current and future residents of the Town and Village of Liberty, organized in three core areas of Economic Development, Youth, and Housing.

Help us do our work by becoming a member of the Liberty CDC. Membership is open to all Town and Village of Liberty residents and businesses. You can find more information here.
